Goldie Hawn was filming on location in Manvel, Texas during her directorial debut of the movie "Hope." Julie provided cake for her staff that reflected the theme of the movie. As depicted in the photo to the left, Julie gave Goldie a buttercream Basketweave cake adorned with spring flowers to her for her birthday. |

For over nine years Shane Reynolds has had Julies Cakes as the centerpiece for their celebrations. From their baby shower cakes to the children's birthday cakes, they have included 3-D sculptures of the Little Mermaid, Astros Baseball cap, Hot Dogs and even a girl's purse. |
Julie Clifton, the creative designer and founder of Julies Cakes, has been featured in articles in Vogue, Houston Chronicle, The Houston Post, The LA Times and Houston Modern Bride magazine. She has been seen on several local channels as well. She also spent a fun-filled morning on Channel 11's Walton's World.
She was featured on the Debra Duncan Show just before Debra's wedding in 2002. Not only was Julie the featured wedding cake artist, one of the cakes shown on the show was a model of Debra's cake which is the classic victorian design that had family heirloom costume jewelry from Debra's family.
